  Internet Dating - I feel like I am being love bombed again

  i am on three or four sites and lots of guys are showing an interest and trying to be genuine.

  it reminds me of being love bombed by the jws.

  i am having so much fun and loving all the attention, i almost got carried away with it all, until i got a pm on jwn.. i have just been absorbing it all and it dawned on me i am still vulnerable, and possibly not ready to date.

  Their teachings lack any firmness. So it's appropriate that their books are all limp.

  Driving around in cars is dangerous and harmful to the environment. Car crashes are defiling to the body, and exhaust emissions are "ruining the earth." So, JWs should stop driving to the KH and in FS.

  Forcing your cult on other people can be dangerous because you could get punched in the face. And getting punched in the face would be defiling to the body. So, JWs should stop their recruiting tactics.

  Don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of smoking. But the opinions of a Bronze Age god in Palestine are pointless on the subject. For that matter, I think that many of the writers of the bible were doing some kind of drugs.

  I remembered this thread and thought I'd posted on it. I wish I would have put my test results then so I could compare to now. At the time, they helped confirm my decision to go into engineering. I just retook it today, thinking it might help with the job-hunt. I, too, am an INTJ.

  my coworker actually was involved in training me, and i used to be a quiet good little jw when he met me.

  i had a recent conversation with an elder from my mother's congregation.

  he with another elder was at my mom's house.

  my mother has all the bound volumes for both the awake and watchtower plus most of the older books.

  They should put expiration dates on all the WT litteratrash, so everyone knows how quickly it will become "old light".

  Better yet, as soon as the magazines and books arrive at the congregation, just toss them in the dumpster. It saves the trouble of opening, counting, distributing, and then destroying.
